Dalhousie Hill

Dalhousie is a hill station in Chamba district. Dalhousie is a hill station ith amazing scenic views and prominent traces of India’s British association such as colonial’s mansions. There are amazing place to visit in this station like Kalatop, Daikund and Punch Pula. Subhash Boli and Lohali Village are other popular tourist attraction. Khajjiar on the world tourism map by calling “Mini Switzerland”. Kala Top is a Wildlife sanctuary is the home to a wide verity of Leopard, bear, deer, languor, jackal, Himalayan black Marten, Barking goral and countless beautiful birds can be spotted here. Punch pula is one of the most favorite spots of tourists in Dalhousie. Dalhousie is a high-altitude town spread across 5 hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It's home to colonial-era buildings, including St. Francis and St. John’s churches, which date back to the rule of the British Raj in the 1800s. A trek up Dainkund Peak leads to Pholani Devi Temple. To the north, Subhash Baoli is a peaceful area with pine trees and panoramic views.

by Road and is 23 Kms from Dalhousie and 26 Kms from Chamba. It is 520 Kms from Delhi.

 

By Train

The closest Railway Station is Pathankot and it is 103 Kms from Chamba, 95 Kms from Khajjiar and 94 Kms from Dalhousie.

 

By Flight

The nearest Airport at Gaggal in Kangra is at a distance of 124 Kms from Chamba, 115 Kms from Dalhousie and 117 Kms from Khajjiar.
