Day 1: Chandigarh to Manali (320 Km / 8-10 Hrs)
Once you get picked up from Chandigarh airport or railway station you’ll be driven to Manali. The drive is simply breathtaking which crosses Sundar Nagar Lake, Hanogi Mata Temple, Pandoh Dam and Aut Tunnel. Once you reach Manali, you can explore the local Kullu market before you head to your hotel.
Day 2: Manali – Local City Tour – Manali
After breakfast, head to a half day city tour of Manali. This includes Hadimba Devi Temple, a place that is quite serene and peaceful. A visit to Vashisht Hot springs rejuvenates and refreshes. The tour also includes a visit to Tibetans Monastery. You can shop for some amazing stuff at the Mall road and IBEX market in the evening before you head to your hotel.
Day 3: Manali – Rohtang Pass or Solang Valley – Manali (54 Km / 2-3 Hrs)
After breakfast, there is a drive all the way to the Solang valley. Solang valley is known for its scenic locales and breathtaking views. Different types of adventures also take place here. If you are an adventure junkie, you can try some thrilling activities as well. Then head to Jogini Waterfall and Nehru Kund for some fun time. You can also take an alternate route to Rohtang Pass if there is a permit to visit the place. National Green Tribunal allows limited vehicle access in Rohtang pass, so this is subject to permit and availability. Also, Rohtang pass is closed every Tuesday, so it depends on the day too.
Day 4: Manali – Chandigarh (320 Km / 8-10 Hrs)
After breakfast, head to Kullu to enjoy a thrilling river rafting experience. A visit to Pashmina Shawl Factory is a great experience as well. Drive back to Chandigarh is about 8 to 10 hours approx. This tour will surely give you a long deserved break in life and rejuvenate you.
